Peyton Barber (born June 27, 1994) is an American football running back for the Washington Football Team of the National Football League (NFL).
From Milton High School to Auburn University (2014-2015), Peyton appeared in two bowl games with the Tigers, notching 13 rushing touchdowns and 1,017 yards with an average of 4.3 yards per rush as a sophomore.
professional career
In 2016, Barber was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Peyton finished the 2017 season with 423 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns, and 16 receptions for 114 yards. In 2018, he started all 16 games 2018 with 963 yards from scrimmage and 5 rushing touchdowns. In 2019, he had 154 carries for 470 yards and 6 TDs. He also had 16 receptions for 115 yards and 1 TD.
On top of his football career, Barber looks to continue his excellence in philanthropic opportunities. Peyton recently spent a weekend in Mexico re-building houses in support of 1Mission.
In 2020, Peyton Barber signed with the Washington Football Team.
In 2021, Peyton Barber signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.
